Linen and recycled cotton are a more sustainable alternative to regular cotton and petroleum based fibres, such as polyester. By choosing linen and recycled cotton we can save water and energy, reduce waste and the use of chemicals.
Linen is the oldest known fibre and also one of the most sustainable. It's made from flax plants and it's stronger and require less water than cotton. Flax only takes 100 days to grow to maturity, requires fewer pesticides, herbicides and fungicides than cotton, it improves the soil it grows in, and there is very little waste due to the whole plant being used.
Hand wash or machine wash cold on delicate cycle inside a laundry bag or pillowcase to protect hardware. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight. We recommend to use an environmentally friendly laundry detergent or gentle soap. Alternatively, spot clean with a stain remover.
To prolong the life of your item and avoid excess staining, please remove the item before rough play dates or muddy adventures. Although very durable, we do not recommend salt water exposure for our hardware.
